As one of the world's preeminent interpreters of Bach and the choral-orchestral repertoire, the German conductor, Helmuth Rilling performs with the world-class orchestras all year round, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and also the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. The Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart is a foundation in Stuttgart, founded by Rilling in 1981 to spread the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. In 1994 his Stuttgart Bach Academy was awarded the UNESCO Music Prize. Bach's Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin, Magnificat and some of Mahler's works will be performed.
