Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves reached 9.34 billion US dollars at the end of January this year, the country's central bank said Wednesday.
The Bangladesh Bank official who preferred to be unnamed told Xinhua that the country's foreign exchange reserves stood at 9,356. 25 million US dollars at the end of last month after reaching 9, 634.85 million US dollars in December, 2011.
Bangladesh's forex reserves maintained double-digit billion figures until August last year after surpassing the 10-bln US dollars mark on Nov. 11, 2009. In February last year, Bangladesh's forex reserves hit an all-time high, reaching 11.129 billion US dollars.
