On Wednesday night, eight dancers, including Feng Guopei, Li Zhengyi, Li Chengxiang, and Siqin Tariha, were given the lifetime achievement award by China Dancers Association, at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. This is the second year the awards have been granted; altogether there have been 12 winners.
To qualify for nomination, dancers must be over 75 years old and have over 50 years of experience.
