On April, 5, a netizen said on his microblog that in order to better market this year's newly harvested Longjing Tea that will be available soon. A famous tea merchant in Zhejiang Province  has been inclined to invite Sora Aoi and Yin Yi, a local program host, to be spokeswomen of Xihu Longjing. This piece of news has caused a big sensation. Netizens hold different opinions about it. People focus on whether the special identity and experience of Sora Aoi can fit in with Longjing Tea that has profound cultural and historical roots. (Note: Sora Aoi's name is pronounced as Cangjingkong in Putonghua, which shares a same syllable and Chinese character of Jing in Longjing.)

@天涯海角客: Every nation has its own unique culture and features. Longjing Tea is popular in China, but perhaps not welcomed overseas. The idea that Longjing could be made into a world-class brand name through Sora Aoi may lead to a loss  of not only the overseas market but also a loss within the Chinese market.

@蔡__凯: Don't connect everything with culture. Tea is culture, and is adult video not? Does tea mean elegance? Are shooting adult films vulgar? Is there any word phonier than elegance? Most shamelessly, if other people are more popular than you in show business, then they get to claim they are more cultivated than everybody else.

@vimor:Sora Aoi can be a spokesperson, but not for Xihu Longjing tea. Because the tea has some cultural roots, and, inviting such a controversial star to be a spokesperson is obviously some sort of commercial hype. It is indeed improper.

@mkkkq:I object to this case not because I look down upon Sora Aoi's [former] job [as an adult video actress]. Tea is one of symbols of Chinese traditional culture, which is not related to its distribution or the marketing of Chinese tea culture. It is not proper to invite Sora Aoi to be the spokeswomen.

@夏维纪: It's not important who the spokesperson is. The key point lies in whether the Xihu Longjing tea which is sold on the market is the real.
