
A critically endangered Amur leopard was photographed by wildlife cameras recently in the forests of Wangqing, Jilin Province.
The wild leopard first passed the cameras on May 16 and most recently on June 15, the day employees with the Wangqing Forestry Bureau collected the four cameras set out to capture photos of the area's rare tigers and leopards on May 5.
Also known as a Manchurian leopard, the Amur has been critically endangered since 1996, with only 176 in zoos throughout the world as of December last year.
