Zimbabwe will host an international book fair late this month and early next month.
The book fair with the theme "African Literature in the Global and Digital Era" will be held in Harare from July 30 to August 4.
More book publishers from the region and beyond are expected to take part in the event, according to the organizer.
Zimbabwe International Book Fair (ZIBF) executive director Musaemura Zimunya said theme for this year's book fair has a great potential to make the event relevant to the needs of stakeholders in the book industry in Zimbabwe and Africa.
Participants from Zimbabwe and Africa, at home and abroad are expected to take stock of recent developments in information technology and how they have impacted positively and negatively on the book sector in Africa.
A number of Indabas for young writers and writers' workshops have been lined up with writers and publishers expected to share their experiences on the issue of book copyright.
