In an on-going forum held at Nanjing University in East China's Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang University's president Yang Wei was photographed playing a computer game during a lecture on July 22. The forum invited university presidents throughout the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. The lecture Yang attended was delivered by former president of the City University of Hong Kong on "How to disseminate Chinese culture".

@冯晞: In the current digital times, public figures should be conscious of their public image. They should pay attention to their own behaviors.

@戴华通: We can't blame this president. It shows that the lecture was really boring, but he couldn't leave. He had no choice.

@吴世柱: A teacher is the one with both high knowledge and moral integrity. This is the professional integrity that every teacher should have. However, Yang did not respect the lecturer. I don't know whether the students at Zhejiang University will respect him after seeing this photo.

@华南法律人: If the lecture is not at a high level, the audiences surely have the right to refuse to listen to him. We should first judge the level of the lecture, and then discuss the question whether it is right or wrong for the president to play computer games during the lecture.

@江水东逝: When I know that a principal of a nationally famous university does not respect an academic lecturer, I want to ask, how can our university educate talents and provide advanced technology for our society? I think this principal should resign from his position, otherwise more and more people will feel disappointed about university education and even the future of the country.
