SingPost has launched an application for smart phone users to create real customized postcards from their phones and have them sent by the service provider, a Singapore newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Customers can choose the images and add a personal message through the application before it is printed and delivered, the Straits Times said.

The completed postcards will be 10.16cm by 15.24cm in size and have a glossy finish.

The application can be downloaded for free from the iTunes Applications Store or Google Play. Local delivery of a postcard cost 1.9 Singapore dollars (1.52 US dollars) and 2.50 Singapore dollars (2 US dollars) to anywhere else in the world. The Payments can be made through Paypal, credit cards or prepaid credits.
