LeBron James became the youngest player in NBA history to score 20,000 career points on Wednesday, moving past the milestone with 25 points in Miami's 92-75 victory over Golden State.

James's jump shot with 2:45 remaining in the second quarter gave him 20,001 career points. He came into the contest needing 18 points to become the 38th player in NBA history to reach the mark.

The previous youngest to reach the 20,000-point mark was Lakers star Kobe Bryant, who got there when he was 29 years, 122 days old, while James was 28 years and 17 days old.

In the first quarter James' pass to a driving Dwyane Wade for a dunk also gave him a 5,000th career assist.

James became the 13th player with 20,000 points and 5,000 assists.

Even better for James, the Heat won easily. Wade contributed 15 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Miami, who have won two of their last three.

Mario Chalmers added 15 points, Chris Bosh scored 11 and Ray Allen scored 10 for the Heat, who rested their starters for the bulk of the fourth quarter and still maintained a double-digit lead.

The Warriors, making do without Stephen Curry after the point guard sprained an ankle during Golden State's shootaround Wednesday morning, looked discombobulated for much of the night. The point output was a season-low for Golden State, which has lost four of its last five games.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, the San Antonio Spurs made light of Manu Ginobili's absence to overwhelm Memphis 103-82, piling on the misery for the struggling Grizzlies.

With Ginobili missing due to a left hamstring injury, the Spurs handed Memphis a third straight loss.

Tim Duncan netted 19 points and eight rebounds while Tony Parker added 17 and 11 assists as San Antonio cruised after a slow start.

Rudy Gay led the visitors with 17 points and eight rebounds after returning from a one-game absence due to a death in the family.

All five Memphis starters scored in double figures but they got little help elsewhere.

The Toronto Raptors continued their struggles in overtime games in a 107-105 loss against the Chicago Bulls.

The loss drops Toronto's record to 0-3 in overtime at home and 1-3 overall this season. The other two losses at home were against the Spurs in double overtime and the Jazz in triple overtime.

In total, the Raptors have played 92 total overtime games in their 18 years of existence. Seven games have reached double overtime and five in triple overtime.

The team holds a losing record in all three scenarios: 3-4 in double overtime games, 1-4 in triple overtime games and 33-47 in single overtime games for an overall record of 37-55.
