More than 20 people got stuck in an elevator for 35 minutes at a shopping mall in Yangpu district Saturday night, the Xinmin Evening News reported Sunday.

The Mitsubishi elevator was going down from the fourth floor when it abruptly stopped before reaching the third floor. One person called the police who arrived with firefighters. One young woman was taken to the hospital due to a breathing problem.
