Myanmar's selected international rowing team and canoe rowing team will be given joint training in China for one month, local daily reported Tuesday.

The Myanmar rower team comprised of 33 rowers including seven canoe rowers will receive the one-month joint training scheduled from July 10 to August 16, said the 7Day Daily.

Kayak and traditional boat rowing team will be trained in Yangon.

Among the Myanmar boat rowing team for 27th SEA Games, the international and canoe rowers are being trained by Chinese coaches while Kayak rowers by Hungarian coaches and traditional rowers by local coaches.

In 2011, Myanmar rowing team won many gold medals in 26th Southeast Asian Games Indonesia.
