Chinese athlete Liu Xiangrong wins a gold medal in women's shot put in the 20th Asian Athletics Championships here on Saturday evening.

Her teammate Gao Yang came third, and Iranian athlete got the silver medal.

By far, after three days, China leads the medal tally with nine gold, three silver and three bronze.

The 20th Asian Athletics Championship is held in Pune of India from July 3 to 7. Around 580 athletes from 43 nations and regions are to compete for 42 gold medals.
