France international wing Alexis Palisson will follow in the footsteps of his father and uncle by joining Top 14 side Toulouse next season, the club confirmed Monday.

Palisson, 26, who joined Toulon in late 2011, has only played eight Top 14 ties this season and recently broke his contract with the club which had been due to run until June 2015.

The four-time European champions Toulouse already have several wingers on their books including France internationals Yoann Huget, Maxime Medard, Vincent Clerc as well as Fijian Timoci Matanavou and Yves Donguy.

Palisson was capped 21 times for France between 2008 and 2012, scoring two tries and was on the France team that finished runners-up at the last World Cup.
