Four stone statues of Japanese generals kneel in front of a tomb in Wenchang, Hainan Province. A man surnamed Ling had the statues made and placed at the grave of a family member who died during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45). The four statues are depicted in uniform and bear the names of Japanese generals on their backs, including general Ando Rikichi and general Iida Shojiro. Photo: Chinanews.com
