Eduaro Grosu of Japan's Vini Fantini Nippo (VFN) won the 12th stage of the 13th Tour of Qinghai Lake on Friday.

Second and third places respectively went to Boris Shpilevsky of RTS-Santic Racing Team (RTS) and Eduardo Alzate of Unitedhealthcare Professional Cycling Team (UHC).

The owners of yellow, blue and green jerseys remain unchanged from Thursday, with Ilya Davidenok from Continental Team Astana (AS2) the overall leader and best Asian rider, and Mykhaylo Kononenko of Kolss Cycling Team (KLS) the best sprinter wearing green.

Friday's Zhongwei circuit race has three sprints, covering a total distance of 120 kilometers.
