China's former Masters hero Guan Tianlang shot three-under-par 69 to lie in contention as the Asian Games men's golf got underway on Thursday.
Guan, who last year became the youngest player at the US major and the top-placed amateur at Augusta aged 14, was three shots back from Chinese Taipei's Pan Cheng-tsung after round one.
Eighty players teed off at Dream Park Country Club in Incheon, with individual and team gold medals available. Guan and others will also be hoping to represent their countries and regions when golf returns to the Olympic program at Rio 2016.
