On November 23th, Chengdu International Circuit (CDIC) saw the end of Sichuan Touring Car Elite (STCE). As the only indigenous brand participating in this match, Geely's New Emgrand  outplayed other counterparts, securing the second place.    

This year's STCE, started on November 22th and lasted for two days, had two sessions of competition. Geely's New Emgrand driven by Chen Zhong finally defeated its competitors including Golf GTI, BMW 328, Audi TT, Seat and other outstanding models and secured the second place.  

Geely has been committed to training racers for years and Chen Zhong is one of them. In 2008, he started his professional racer career in the AGF open tournament as the representative racer of Geely. In the following years, Chen keeps moving forward . He participated in many matches including the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival and got quite a few awards.

In August of 2004, he was recruited as a coach in Geely's racer training center, and shared with the students his experience and his special "five-points" methodology, namely observation, judgment, concentration, reaction, and control, helping more race-lovers to grow into outstanding racing drivers.

He said that he is confident in the power, torque and wind resistance index of the New Emgrand. Thanks to its outstanding performance in power, the model has been recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).
