ProSlide Technology, a Canadian water park attractions company, announced Tuesday it will set up an office in Shanghai to be ProSlide's operations center in Asia-Pacific region

Business for water parks is growing fast in the Asia Pacific region and the Shanghai hub allows the company to be closer to customers in the area, the comapny said on Tuesday.

ProSlide entered the Asian market in the early 1990s and the company has been involved in several Chinese projects.
