Editor's Note:The Middle Kingdom ruled the red carpet at the 2015 Met Gala on May 5, where celebrities from far and wide dressed to theme, China: Through the Looking Glass, and showed their own take on Chinese-inspired design. Soon after, Chinese actress Zhang Xinyu made a splash at the 65th Cannes Film Festival in her red and green gown.
