The Beijing High People's Court ruled on Tuesday that one of JDB Group's advertising slogans for its herbal tea product Jiaduobao infringed on the rights of Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals Corp, a major competitor that sells the Wong Lo Kat herbal tea brand.

The slogan said that sales of Jiaduobao have led the herbal tea market for seven consecutive years.

The court ordered JDB to stop using the slogan and pay compensation of 3 million yuan ($483,300) to Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals.
