Double Tree by Hilton Beijing in Xicheng district celebrated Beijing's victory for their bid to host the 2022 Olympic Winter Games at a party in the lobby on July 31. It was one of the celebrations held at six Hilton hotels in Beijing on the day.

As one of the partners of Chinese Olympic Committee (COC), Hilton hotels plan to do all they can to support China's sports and the Olympic Winter Games.

Five Hilton managers and representatives in Beijing attended the COC partners meeting at Hilton Beijing Wangfujing, presenting a "cake of victory" to officials at COC.

Gathered in front of a TV screen, which live streamed the International Olympic Committee's announcement in Malaysia, hotel staff and guests witnessed the important and exciting moment for Beijing and its co-hosting city Zhangjiakou in Hebei Province.

People waved small national flags in celebration.
