Myanmar government on Friday appointed three incumbent ministers to hold concurrently ministry portfolios left vacant by a reshuffle two days ago, according to an order of the President's Office aired by the state radio and TV.

Minister of Home Affairs Lieutenant-General Ko Ko was assigned to run the Ministry of Immigration and Population also, while Minister of Transport U Nyan Tun Aung to run Ministry of Rail Transportation also and Minister of Energy U Zeya Aung to run Ministry of Communication and Information and Technology also.

The assignment was a follow-up of the government's ordering of ministers to resign on their own volition. They include ministers of the three portfolios left vacant.
