Starting from September 11, the Over the Reality project has been bringing art works to Beijing's Sanlitun Taikooli. Split into three phases featuring three artists for each phase, the project is on display at a dedicated exhibition at Taikooli North.

Now in its third and final phase, sculptor Tian He, painter Jia Jing and new media artist Zhang Wenchao have created an exciting visual experience by combining their special talents. 

According to the project manager Zhang Wei, the project is part of the larger Project LAB, which is an attempt to decorate shopping areas and the city's urban landmarks through performance and contemporary art.

"We want everyone to be able to experience art that is free from fixed forms," Zhang told the Global Times.
