Chinese streaming movie Beach Rescue Team opened on Sunday on streaming site iQiyi.com.

Starring Hong Kong stars like Joseph Lee Kwok Lun and Kenneth Low, and mainland actors Sang Ping and Wang Zi, young director Dong Wei's new thriller takes place on a beautiful beach, Moon Bay, where some bikini beauties are disappearing one by one, said to be attacked by sea monsters.

The movie is the second collaboration between iQiyi Pictures and Hangzhou Running Motions since their last movie Running! F. Running Motions' president Gao Qiao said at a press conference on Wednesday that after their first smooth collaboration, their second one, with the same directing team, more efficient and understandable regarding teamwork.

Dou Lili from iQiyi Pictures said that streamed movies have grown into an important part of the content package offered on iQiyi.com. More than 600 online movies were streamed on the site up to the end of the third quarter of 2015. Among paid movie services, online movies, which are growing very steadily, already account for 15 to 20 percent of the total income.
