A special event marking the upcoming financial center that will be opened to the public by Hutchison Whampoa Property Group Tianjin on April 28, 2016, took place at The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin on November 12. 

Business representatives from more than 200 brands that will move into the center gathered at the event. The financial center, Metropolitan Plaza Tianjin, is located in the financial zone on Nanjing Lu in Heping district, which is one of the busiest business areas of the city. 

The size of the plaza will be about 179,000 square meters, and will have multiple functions, including a shopping mall, office buildings and high-end apartments, catering to the needs of varied consumer groups. 

General Manager of Hutchison Whampoa Property Group Tianjin Zhou Hui and General Manager of the Marketing Department of Hutchison Whampoa Property Group Qiu Junhao spoke at the event.
