Since iKang Evergreen Medical International (Evergreen), an international healthcare service center under the iKang Guobin Healthcare Group (iKang), was established in Chaoyang district in 2013, it has been dedicated to delivering first-class service to its clients.

By doing a coronary artery calcification score test, one can predict if he or she will suffer a heart attack within the next fifteen years.

The international out-patient center is manned by highly skilled Chinese and foreign staff. The Chinese doctors are mostly either associate chief physicians or above, while the majority of its foreign doctors are directly employed from overseas. 

Most doctors can serve patients in either Chinese or English and the nurses are trained to interpret for those who speak only one language. The center also provides multidisciplinary consultation, medical transfers both locally and to the US, operation scheduling, and vaccination services in Hong Kong.

Stepping into Evergreen's headquarters, one may feel one is entering the lobby of a five-star hotel. Its professional medical staff provides various healthcare packages for their clients, including physical examinations, health management, private doctors, door-to-door medicine delivery and follow-up services. Some of the most advanced medical equipment is a part of Evergreen's medical arsenal, ready to be deployed in the fight against disease.

According to Qu Jie, the operation director of Evergreen, many Chinese people who often travel to developed countries like Switzerland and Japan for advanced medical care have switched to Evergreen because of its high-quality service and the comfort of getting help in their own country. 

"Our clients will find no cultural and language barriers at Evergreen," said Qu. 

"If they want to see other doctors from other hospitals, we can also invite the doctors to our centers."

Upon arrival at Evergreen, private doctors will immediately have a deep talk with clients to understand their physical condition and genetic history together with their previous medical results. The doctors will then suggest what medical examination they need. Since Evergreen has its own laboratory, the test results will be available on the spot, allowing near instantaneous analysis and diagnosis.

A DNA test is also available for those who want an in-depth analysis of their health status.

Evergreen's trained physical therapists and nutritionists will offer detailed healthcare advice that is personalized to each client's physical and dietary needs.
