Israeli and Australian archeology researchers discovered in the south of Israel the ancient Philistine town of Ziklag, dated to 3,000 years ago, said a report by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) on Monday.Among the discoveries were bowls and oil lamp. A rural village from the time of King David was also discovered above the remains of Ziklag. The village was destroyed by a large fire.
