Effective on Monday Shanghai officially began temperature checks of commuters at nine metro stations in the city. At the Shanghai Railway Station on Line 1, the temperature is checked during the security check, with two thermometers placed at each point. Besides, metro staff also use forehead thermometers to measure body temperature of passengers during rush hours.More stations will soon adopt similar measures.
