A hairdresser in Shanghai adopts a reservation system to limit the number of customers on Feb 24, the traditional Dragon Head-Raising Day, or Er Yue Er. On this day, people usually get a haircut, as it is believed to usher in good luck for the upcoming year. Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, about 20 customers wearing masks got haircuts on Monday, a sharp decrease compared to 100 plus last year on this traditional day. Customers need to go through thorough disinfection before entering the shop.Photos: Yang Hui/GT
