The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has strengthened people’s consciousness regarding food safety, quality, and sustainability. In fact, an office vegetable garden was revealed at the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai on Friday. In the consulate’s 4-square-meter meeting room, the consulate grows vegetables such as cherry tomatoes, basil, peppers, and mint to achieve self-sufficiency in vegetable planting, nursing, harvesting, and consumption.
