300 traditional Chinese medicine users arrive at Beijing Haidian Hospital on Thursday morning to pick up and receive their Dog Days ointment patch on the first day of Dog Days, which are the hot, sultry days of summer.

The Dog Days ointment patch can be used to help cure and prevent some diseases. One GT reporter learned that nearly 400 citizens made an appointment online or via phone at the hospital this year. To satisfy the COVID-19 epidemic control conditions, all the hospital’s doctors in the traditional Chinese medicine department were on duty to control the crowd that came to receive their patches.
