Apple’s first store in China reopened to become the Asia-Pacific region’s biggest flagship store on Friday morning in Beijing. The store is also Apple’s second flagship branch globally. Located in downtown Beijing’s Sanlitun area, the new store was seen welcoming a huge crowd of Apple enthusiasts that lined up to wait for entry. In the 12 years since Apple opened its first store in China, the California-based technology giant has expanded its number of retail stores to 42 across 14 provinces on the Chinese mainland.
