As Beijing’s public health emergency response level lowered from level-II to level-III on Monday, the Palace Museum opened its indoors exhibition halls to display cultural relics and artifacts to visitors on Tuesday.

The Palace Museum reopened on May 1 after being closed for months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but its indoor exhibition halls have remained closed until today. The approved number of visitors per day has also been increased from 8,000 to 12,000 people.
