Film lovers enjoy outdoor movies at downtown Shanghai on Saturday, when the 23rd Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) kicked off after a delay due to the COVID-19 epidemic. The SIFF planned about 150 outdoor screenings this year at seven commercial zones and 36 communities across the city with cinemas required to open only 30 percent of their seat capacity at each hall to prevent coronavirus transmission.
