Shanghai airport maintains closed-off management after reports of imported COVID-19 cases

Shanghai reported 16 new imported cases of COVID-19 from Russia, the Philippines, the UAE, Zambia and Cote d'Ivoire on Friday, marking the 11th consecutive day for the city to report new imported cases of COVID-19. Shanghai Pudong International Airport is maintaining closed-off management in its T1 and T2 terminals, with all inbound passengers from abroad passing customs through enclosed passages. The airport assured the public of its capacity to handle the current imported cases.
