Editor's Note:
Underwater cultural relics discovered within a Tang Dynasty-era shipwreck were seen on display for visitors at the Shanghai Museum on Tuesday. The wreckage of an Arabian cargo ship from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) included ceramics, gold and silver objects as well as bronze mirrors. They are now a permanent part of the cultural collection at the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) in Singapore. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Singapore, ACM collaborated with the Shanghai Museum to display the 168 relics from the shipwreck collection to Chinese mainland visitors for the first time. The exhibition will continue until January 10, 2021. Photos: Chen Xia/GT
