Beijing-Xiongan intercity railway starts full-line operation

Xiongan Railway Station, in Hebei Province, started operation on Sunday. The 91-kilometer intercity section between Xiongan New Area and Beijing West Railway Station connecting Beijing’s Daxing International Airport in the middle, takes only 50 minutes, with a designed maximum speed of 350 km/h. The launch of the railway will enhance connection between Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and boost local development.
