As cherry blossoms begin blooming in Wuhan, more than 3,000 medical personnel who assisted Wuhan in the fight against COVID-19 in 2020 returned to the city along with their families, visiting Wuhan University to appreciate the cherry blossoms. At the beginning of 2020, more than 340 medical teams and 42,000 medical staff from across China rushed to Wuhan and other cities in Hubei Province to combat the epidemic. Now, they can enjoy the city’s scenery in spring since life has long returned to normal in Wuhan.
