Crowds of tourists visited National Flag Plaza at the Memorial for the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Shanghai on Wed, last day of the five-day May Day holiday, to learn more about the Party’s history. Also, the site of the Second National Congress of the CPC reopened to the public on Tue after a 169-day renovation. Along with gaining more knowledge of the Party’s history, visitors were also able to view the shikumen style neighborhood lane through photos exhibited at the site.(Photo:Yang Hui/GT)
