Over 200 expats in Shanghai enjoyed a stunning light show along the Huangpu River on Friday night, with many of them expressing their excitement and enjoyment after watching the beautiful night scenes. “Joy, hope and friendship,” Mariana Usach, executive director from the Chile Chamber of Commerce told the Global Times on Friday after watching the light show. She also sent her best wishes to the Communist Party of China. In addition to the show, there were also dancing and Sichuan Opera face changing performances. Under the guidance of the Shanghai People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the event was organized by the Jinfeng International Community Development Association, the Expatriate Center and Yuexing Culture Tourism Group.
