The Global Times reporters have been following Endian rescue team from East China’s Jiangsu Province. On Thursday morning, the rescue team went to a university in eastern region in Zhengzhou, to rescue the elderly and children trapped there.
There were in total more than 2,000 teachers and students trapped in the school. The school was cut off edible water and power supply because of flooding. All necessary water and food are transportedby PLA troops as well as civilian rescue teams through boats. (Photos: Li Hao/GT)
