As an important participant and hosting country, China held an opening ceremony for the events of International Army Games (IAG) 2021 hosted in its venues in Korla, Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, on Sunday. Military delegations from seven countries, Venezuela, Vietnam, Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Egypt and China, will contest in three competitions including Suvorov Attack, Clear Sky and Safe Environment in the following two weeks.

The IAG is held annually since it was initially organized by Russia’s Ministry of Defense and staged in August 2015. (Photos: Courtesy of PLA Army)
