Editor's Note:
Following stricter COVID-19 preventive measures, the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off on Friday in Shanghai. Prior to entering the exhibition area, all exhibitors and visitors are required to provide a two-dose vaccination certificate, green health code and a negative nucleic acid test taken within 48 hours. Event organizers are providing free nucleic acid testing services for participants.

Participants can enter the venue after completing facial recognition scanning, a body temperature check and security screening. There are multiple medical stations and hundreds of medical staff on duty throughout the expo venue, which has also been equipped with smart disinfection machines, hand disinfectants, etc. Capacity caps and crowd flow management protocols have also been put in place for this year’s event.
