Beijing Fengtai Railway Station was put into service on June 20, 2022. The reconstructed railway station has become the largest railway hub passenger station in Asia. Beijing Fengtai Railway Station is a truly century-old station. It was built in 1895 and was the first railway station in Beijing at that time. After 4 years of renovation and expansion, the railway station went into operation with a brand new look, adding a new landmark to Beijing. The Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, Beijing-Shanghai and Beijing-Kowloon normal-speed railways and other lines will be arranged to start and end operation at Fengtai station. 120 passenger trains will be arranged in the early stage of operation.
