More than 100,000 candidates will sit for Beijing’s annual high school entrance examination on June 24 as the Chinese capital battles against its most recent COVID-19 outbreak. A total of 218 normal examination sites and 3,583 examination rooms have been set up across 18 examination areas in Beijing. The city has also set up an additional 57 examination sites to deal with coronavirus emergencies, 31 examination sites are located in closed-off and controlled areas due to the epidemic.
