An exhibition on the history of Italy was unveiled at the National Museum of China in Beijing on Sunday. With a display of 503 pieces of antiques reflecting the ancient Roman civilization, visitors can get a glimpse of a variety of aspects of ancient Rome.

The exhibition is scheduled to last until October 9 as a flagship event to celebrate the China-Italy Year of Culture and Tourism. China and Italy are extraordinary representatives of oriental and Western civilizations with long histories.

2022 also marks the 110th anniversary of the founding of the National Museum of China. (Photos: Li Hao/GT)
