Known as one of “China’s Most Beautiful Leisure Villages” and a“future village pilot,” Wandi village in the Yinzhou district of Ningbo City, in East China’s Zhejiang Province, has achieved a high-standard development in advanced agriculture, foreign trade, service industry, tourism and financial investment. With a registered population of about 1,200, the village had 44.58 million yuan ($6.41 million) in disposable income in 2022, a successful case of China’s rural revitalization and common prosperity. Students visited modern farms and experienced intangible cultural heritage in the village on March 1, 2023, while villagers are working in the village-owned factory to produce and package products to be exported to foreign clients.
