The opening ceremony of the 2023 Xishan Yongding River Cultural Festival was held on June 25, 2023, at the No. 3 blast furnace area at the Shougang Park in the Shijingshan District of Beijing. As the national cultural center, Beijing is a five-dynasty ancient capital, and Jinzhongdu is the starting point of Beijing as the capital city. In 2023, it will be the 870th anniversary of Jinzhongdu's founding. The Xishan Yongding River Cultural Festival will trace back to the beginning of Beijing's founding and look back at the development process of a great city. The festival will be led by the Xishan Yongding River Cultural Belt, presenting the inter-belt landscape of One Axis and Three Belts, excavating the spiritual connotation of One Axis and Three Belts, and showcasing the myriad of cultural phenomena of Beijing as the cultural center of China and even the world. The festival will strengthen its brand upgrade, using diversified innovation to build the festival into a new era of artistic brand. Photos: Li Hao/GT
