The archery competition of the 31st FISU World University Games was held at the Equestrian Stadium of the Chengdu Modern Pentathlon Center on July 27, prior to the opening ceremony of the games. The first day of the archery competition includes the qualification rounds for men's and women's recurve bow individual competition, followed by individual and team 1/8 and 1/4 elimination rounds, team semifinals and the qualification rounds for men's and women's compound bow.
