The opening ceremony of the 31st FISU World University Games will take place at 8 pm on July 28, 2023, at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Stadium in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan Province. At 5 pm, actors, spectators, and reporters gradually entered the venue. The Dong'an Lake Sports Park Stadium is designed with the theme of "bird of sun god," symbolizing the ancient Shu civilization and the Tianfu culture. The entire venue is in the shape of a circular flying saucer, blending traditional and modern elements, reflecting a sense of harmony, space, and the future.
